What Sage does well

Sage Copilot and automation
Sage promotes Copilot as a built-in assistant for reducing admin, improving invoice follow-up and surfacing unusual payroll activity. As with any AI feature, the useful question is whether it saves time in your specific workflow rather than simply whether the feature exists.
VAT and compliance
Sage supports UK VAT calculations and Making Tax Digital workflows. For a VAT-registered business, bank reconciliation and accurate transaction coding remain more important than the filing button itself.
Reporting, CIS and inventory
